Recent Doubletree Conference St Louis Review: "We actually stayed two different nights here (once on our way south, a Friday and once again coming back north, a Saturday). Both nights were equally fantastic. Really gorgeous and updated rooms with really, really comfortable beds with lux bed linens which were great after driving for hours. When we walked into the room, it smelled brand new. Check-in was a snap, and delicious too, because they give you warm cookies! The neighborhood is very quiet and I had no fears of leaving anything in the car overnight. The police station basically overlooks the parking lot. My 1 year old absolutely loved the indoor pool because it was really warm and he could work out some of his roadtrip energy (and it was open until 9 or 10pm). Also, the towels were as nice if not nicer than the ones I have at home. Also, the bathroom toiletries are all Neutrogena and they have Wolfgang Puck coffee and tea in the room for you as well. We arrived with too little time to use the fitness room, but it is immense. While there is a restaurant or two downstairs, I am usually not a fan of hotel food, so we went just a little north on the highway (interstater) and found a plethora of restaurants, fast food and shopping. Including your all purpose stores like Target, Walmart, and Walgreens. Really easy to get to and not far away. The not so awesome things: The wi-fi was a little spendy, at $9.99 for 24 hours. Also, the choices of cable channels was limited, but not bad. Overall it was clean, quiet, safe, and comfortable. We will definitly stay here again. Well worth the money for what you get, even if it is just an overnight trip where you just need a place to relax and sleep."
